About Us

It is our mission to help each child, young person and adult reach their potential and enjoy themselves when playing sport or any other physical activity, learning and developing skills and habits to take into adulthood and encourage and establish lifelong physical literacy.

Our long-term vision is to create inclusive community sport and activity programmes and deliver vocational training workshops, which are accessible and are focused on making a positive improvement to people’s lives in the local area.

Underpinning all our work is a fundamental awareness of the need of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults to be able to take part in a sport, physical activity and learning environments that is stimulating, enjoyable and safe.

Our inclusive programme involves a mixture of fun inclusive games and activities, skill challenges and competitions. We work closely with accredited grassroots sports clubs creating exit routes for children and young people to continue playing regular organised disability sport and inclusive physical activities in the local area.

All our staff, sports coaches, and volunteers, where appropriate, will hold enhanced DBS certificate and have accredited First Aid for Sport, Exercise and Fitness, and Safeguarding Children certification, working closely with UK Coaching and ActFast Frist Aid. We also upskill our staff, sports coaches and local volunteers with disability awareness and inclusive activity training.

We have over 30 years’ experience within Primary and Secondary School Education, specialising in SEND provision and support, local community sport and the development of voluntary and charitable organisations across the Yorkshire and Humber area. We work closely with the local School Sport Partnership, Panathlon, UK Coaching, and local accredited community sport clubs, supporting the development of disability and inclusive activity and training opportunities.
