Welcome to DANDI Club
DANDI (Disability and Inclusion Club) is a welcoming community that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion, and empowers people of all abilities to connect, participate, and thrive.
Our mission is to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities, their families, carers, friends, and supporters to come together in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Through social activities, events, learning opportunities, advocacy, and community engagement, DANDI Club aims to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and champion equal access for everyone.
We believe that inclusion is not just about participation—it’s about belonging. At DANDI Club, every member is valued, every voice is heard, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute their unique talents, experiences, and perspectives.
Whether you’re looking to make new friends, develop skills, access support, volunteer, or simply be part of an inclusive community, DANDI Club is a place where everyone can belong.
Our Values
Together, we’re building a community where disability is understood, inclusion is embraced, and everyone has the opportunity to flourish.
CASE STUDIES
Volunteering – Francesca Bacon

Francesca has started volunteering at Bridlington Town Football Club during the DANDI Social Club, serving hot and cold drinks, helping to prepare and serve food, and setting up activities for people with special needs and disabilities.
Over the next 3 months Francesca will be supported to develop a new CV and gain further training and work experience opportunities.
“The volunteering has boosted Francesca’s confidence in helping others. Her self-esteem has improved, and she is now more confident in other areas of her life and overcoming the challenges she faces on a daily basis” (Parent)
Work Experience – Alexander Squires

Alexander just loves his work experience placement at Bridlington Town Football Club. He’s developing customer service and hospitality skills which he has learned when working behind the bar, dispensing drinks, and chatting to customers whilst enjoying their Sporting Memories session.
“His self-confidence and sense of achievement are so much improved, and he really has a sense of worth which benefits him greatly. It’s also good for the customers too who see the positive side of providing opportunities for people with disabilities who otherwise might not be able to access these work-related activities.” (Parent)
